The Rams and Bucs are coming off bounce-back wins in their previous outing. Los Angeles beat Seattle 23-16 after dropping a 28-17 game to the Miami Dolphins. On the other hand, the Bucs rebounded from a 38-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints with a 46-23 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Tampa Bay defeated Los Angeles 55-40 in the last head to head meeting between these two teams. However, the Rams won five consecutive head to head encounters before that. The Bucs head to this contest as a four-point odds on favorite.
The Los Angeles Rams improved to 6-3 SU on the season after a big offensive output in their last assignment. Quarterback Jared Goff threw for 302 yards while the ground game produced three touchdowns as Los Angeles toppled Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks 23-16.
Goff completed 27 of 37 passes in the game. He has now passed for 2,447 yards with 13 touchdowns against six interceptions and has completed 66.4% of his passes. Malcolm Brown rushed for 33 yards on six carries with two scores while Darrell Henderson Jr. rushed for 28 yards on seven carries with one touchdown. Henderson has rushed for 486 yards on the season while Brown has five touchdowns for the Rams.
The Rams defense has done a good job getting to opposing quarterbacks. They have produced eight interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and 31 sacks. Aaron Donald leads the team with nine sacks while Leonard Floyd has seven sacks for the Rams. Los Angeles ranks second in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 18.7 points per game.
After a 38-3 blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints, The Bucs got back on track with a big win over the Carolina Panthers. Tom Brady threw for 341 yards as Tampa Bay broke open a 17-17 tie with 15 unanswered points. The win helped the Bucs improve to 7-3 on the season and they are in second place in the NFC South division standings.
Brady completed 28-39 of his passes and threw three passing touchdowns. He has now passed for 2,739 yards with 23 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Ronald Jones II had a big game as well with 192 rushing yards on 23 carries with one touchdown. Jones has rushed for a total of 730 yards and five scores and is averaging an impressive 5.1 yards per carry this season.
Tampa Bay ranks 8th in the NFL in scoring defense as they have held down their opponents to 22.6 points per game this season. The Bucs’ defense has produced 32 sacks, 12 interceptions, and five fumble recoveries. Jason Pierre-Paul leads Tampa Bay with a total of 7.5 sacks this year. Shaquil Barrett and Devin White each have five sacks while Carlton Davis leads the team with four interceptions.
The Rams are 7-3 SU in their last 10 games played. Los Angeles is 2-5 SU in their last seven games played on the road and 7-1 SU in their last eight games played against the NFC. Tampa Bay is 4-1 SU in their last five games played. The Bucs are 3-1 SU in their last four games played at home and 4-2 SU in their last six games played in November. Los Angeles’ defense did a terrific job against the Seahawks. They limited Russell Wilson to 248 passing yards and 60 rushing yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Before that game, Wilson had not thrown fewer than two touchdown passes in any of their eight previous games played. The Rams rank 2nd overall in total defense, allowing just 296.4 yards per game. They are also no. 2 in scoring defense, allowing just 18.7 points per game this season. Los Angeles needs its defense to show up against the high-powered Bucs offense.

With weapons like Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, and Antonio Brown, Tom Brady has plenty at his disposal.
Both teams have great defenses but it’s obvious that the Bucs are more talented on offense. Whether this turns out to be a shoot out or a competitive game, the Bucs have more firepower than the Rams. Give me Tampa Bay here.
